Walk into a Korean jjimjilbang and the loudest sound in the bathhouse is the rhythmic rasping of the Italy towel against skin. The tradition, known colloquially as seshin, goes back decades and is based on one simple observation: warm water, time, and friction reveal skin you did not know you had. How to build a Korean body exfoliation routine
Daily (optional): medicube Kojic Acid Turmeric Brightening Body Wash for gentle enzymatic brightening in the shower.

Common mistakes
- Do not use an Italy towel on active acne, eczema, or recently waxed skin.
- Do not layer a body peel shot with physical exfoliation the same day.

Are Korean peel shots safe to leave on?
