Medicube Eye Gel vs Anua Retinol Serum: Different Uses

1 min read

Medicube Kojic Acid Turmeric Vita Eye Gel Serum 30 ml is an eye-area product. Anua Nano Retinol 0.3% + Niacin Renewing Serum 30 ml is a facial serum. The matching bottle volume does not make them substitutes for the same application area.

Do not assume the eye gel is retinol-free

Medicube’s published Eye Gel ingredient list includes retinol as well as the ingredients highlighted in its name. Check your actual pack. “Kojic Acid Turmeric” on the front label is not the entire formula.

Choosing an eye product or facial serum

Consider the eye gel when you specifically want an eye-area formula, following its application directions. Consider the Anua product when you are looking for its facial retinol step. Do not extend the facial serum into the eye area unless that exact product’s directions permit it.

Avoid an automatic layering recommendation

This comparison does not establish that the two should be layered on the same area or started together. Keep track of the retinoids already in your routine and follow product-specific instructions. If you use prescribed skincare, ask your clinician how a new retinol product fits your plan.
