REJURAN Turnover Mask Review: Honest Look at the Healing Mask

6 min read

The REJURAN Turnover Mask is the rebranded version of what used to be called the REJURAN Healing Mask. Same formula, new name. I have used the original version before and was curious whether the new packaging and name signaled any reformulation. I bought a box of five and used one a week for five weeks, alternating with my normal sheet mask routine. The rebrand from Healing to Turnover is interesting marketing language, but it does not seem to reflect a formula change. The ingredient deck looks identical to the original, which means existing fans can buy the new boxes confidently.

Verdict up front: this is one of the best premium sheet masks on the market, but it is also expensive per sheet. The result lasts for two to three days, the texture is rich enough that you can skip a moisturizer layer over the residue, and the plumping is genuinely visible the morning after. If you mask weekly and you want one luxe slot in your rotation, this is the one. If you mask daily, you cannot afford to use this as your main product. The rest of this review covers the texture, the experience, the value math, and how it compares to the Anua PDRN sheet and other premium options.

Texture, Application, and First Impressions

The pouch contains a substantial amount of essence, which is dense and serum-like rather than watery. When you open the pouch you immediately feel the difference compared to a cheap sheet mask. The sheet itself is thick, cushioned, almost like a cotton fabric, and adheres well to the contours of the face.

Application takes a couple of attempts. The sheet has folds and slits that you need to align correctly. Once seated, I press around the nose, the eye area, and the chin to make sure the contact is even. Twenty minutes is the sweet spot, though I tested twenty-five and got a slightly better result.

First impressions on the first mask: the post-removal glow was immediately visible, and unlike most sheet masks where the glow fades within an hour, this one held overnight and into the next day. That was the moment I committed to testing the full box.

What It Claims

REJURAN positions this as a regenerative, turnover-supporting sheet mask centered on c-PDRN and a blend of barrier-restoring actives. The brand language is about overnight repair, smoother texture, and skin that looks recovered after a long week. Recommended use is one to two times per week.

Each pouch contains 40ml of essence, which is significantly more than a typical sheet mask. The sheet itself is thick, cushioned, and holds the essence well. Expect to use the leftover essence on neck, decollete, and the back of your hands.

Key Ingredients

  • c-PDRN: The brand's signature polydeoxyribonucleotide complex. In topical form, supports barrier and antioxidant defense.
  • Centella Asiatica: Calming and skin-repairing, especially valuable for irritated or post-procedure skin.
  • Niacinamide: Evens tone, supports barrier, and reduces post-mask redness.
  • Multi-Weight Hyaluronic Acid: Plumping from multiple depths, which gives the mask its lasting hydration result.

My Honest Take After Testing

Flaw first. The price per sheet is steep. At roughly seven to eight dollars per mask depending on where you buy, this is firmly premium. You can find good sheet masks in Korea for under two dollars each. The REJURAN is not three times better than those, but it is meaningfully better in two specific ways: the essence quantity and the post-mask result duration. The premium is partly the formulation, partly the brand reputation. You are paying for both.

I also want to flag the value math here. Five masks for around thirty-eight dollars is roughly seven dollars per mask. If you use one a week, that is roughly five weeks of luxury per box, or 32 dollars a month if you use one a week year-round. For a single weekly treatment, that is genuinely expensive but not absurd. For a daily product, it would be a non-starter.

The second concern is the sheet itself. It is thick and cushioned, but I find it slightly less form-fitting than a thinner microfiber sheet. The areas around the nose and under the eyes need pressing to seat properly.

Now the good. The post-mask glow lasts forty-eight to seventy-two hours, which is unusual. Most sheet masks give you a great morning-after, and the result is gone by lunch the next day. This one keeps delivering. My skin looked plumper and more even three days after the mask, especially in the cheeks and forehead.

The residue essence is also so substantial that I can skip a serum layer the night I mask. I just pat the residue, apply a light moisturizer, and call it done. The texture the next morning is reliably soft and smooth.

Who Should Buy / Who Should Skip

  • Weekly mask ritual: Buy. Best use case.
  • Pre-event glow: Buy. Use it the night before for visible effect.
  • Compromised barrier or post-procedure recovery: Buy. Genuinely repairing.
  • Mature or dehydrated skin: Buy. The lasting hydration is meaningful.
  • Daily maskers on a budget: Skip. Use cheaper sheets daily and this once a month.
  • Oily skin in summer: Cautious buy. The residue can feel heavy.

Common Complaints

The biggest online concern is the price per sheet. People weigh the result against cheaper sheets and conclude it is good but not three times better. Fair critique, depending on how you use it. The math gets better if you treat the mask as a monthly luxury rather than a weekly product. Five masks for thirty-eight dollars at four masks a month gives you nine months of luxury treatments.

Second, some users say the sheet fit is not perfect around the nose and eye area. The trick is to press the sheet firmly when applying and seat it gently with your fingertips. With this approach, the fit is fine. If the sheet keeps lifting, try applying it to slightly damp skin so the adhesion is stronger.

Third, a few reviewers have said the essence is slightly tacky, and they prefer to rinse rather than absorb. I disagree. The tackiness fades within ten minutes and the result is better when you let it absorb. Rinsing washes away most of the active ingredients you just paid for.

Fourth, some users mention that the box of five feels small for the price. Buying a larger pack would be cost-effective, but REJURAN does not currently sell bulk packs at a meaningful discount. Until they do, the five-sheet box is the only option.

How It Compares

Versus the Anua PDRN Mask Sheet, the REJURAN is denser and the post-mask result lasts longer. The Anua is more affordable per sheet. If you want one weekly luxe mask, REJURAN. If you want two to three masks per week at lower cost, Anua.

Versus a basic clay or wash-off mask like the Sulwhasoo Clarifying Mask, the REJURAN is the hydrating-restorative side, while the Sulwhasoo is the clarifying side. They complement each other rather than overlap.

Where to Buy

I bought my box from Mirai Skin's REJURAN Turnover Mask page. REJURAN's high price and clinic-adjacent reputation make counterfeits a real risk on third-party marketplaces, so direct-from-Korea sourcing matters. Mirai's pricing was competitive.

How I Built a Routine Around It

The REJURAN Turnover Mask is a once-weekly anchor, so the routine around it matters.

Mask night: oil cleanse, water cleanse, gentle toner, apply the mask for twenty to twenty-five minutes (longer than usual because the essence is so concentrated), remove gently, then pat the residue into face, neck, and the back of your hands. I follow with the REJURAN Healer Nutritive Cream for a full PDRN-themed seal, then sleep. Skip serums and additional actives on mask night.

The other nights: my usual routine with the VT PDRN Essence 100 as the essence layer, the IOPE Retinol Expert 0.1 percent or COSRX Alpha-Arbutin Serum on alternating nights, then a richer moisturizer.

For pre-event use, apply the mask the night before. The forty-eight-hour glow effect means your skin looks its best for the event the next day. I tested this before a wedding and the result was the best my skin has looked in photos.

What I Wish I Knew Before Buying

I wish I had known to leave the mask on longer than the typical fifteen-minute window. The essence is dense, and the mask continues delivering for at least twenty minutes. I left mine on for twenty-five and the result was better than at fifteen.

I also wish I had bought a single sheet to test before the box. The per-sheet price feels high until you actually see the result, and the per-sheet purchase option lets you try without committing fully.

Final Verdict

A premium, genuinely effective sheet mask with results that outlast most of the category. Worth the price if you treat it as a weekly indulgence rather than a daily product. If you mask only occasionally, this is the one to pick.

For your wider routine, the REJURAN Healer Nutritive Cream pairs perfectly as the post-mask seal, the VT PDRN Essence 100 works as the daily-use essence layer between mask nights, the Anua PDRN Mask Sheet serves as the more affordable mid-week alternate, the Sulwhasoo Clarifying Mask covers the clarifying half of your mask routine, the SKIN1004 Probio-Cica Bakuchiol Eye Cream handles the eye area, and the Anua Heartleaf Red Spot Cream handles any active flares that need targeted attention.
